Charlton Morris seeks Development Engineer

A developer and manufacturer of plastic solutions for the automotive industry world-wide is seeking a key profile to their development team. The position is a challenging role, as you will take on various tasks in the process from design to production. The company is a part of a world leading Group with 50 companies and 3.200 global service partners. Over the last 10 years they have grown intensively and is now hiring to strengthen the development of the business. The position is a crucial addition to the company as you will support the Head of Development in managing projects for process optimisation.

The profile we’re looking for is either having an academic background in plastic, mechanical engineering or similar combined with a few years’ experience from the plastics processing industry OR a Plastic Technician with at least 7 years’ experience with project and process management within the injection moulding field.

The role

Depending on your background and experience you will be responsible for assigned projects and process management from design to production. Responsibilities include: running development projects, driving processes related to application specific testing, documentation, communicate with customers, production and outdoor vendors to improve the products and process optimisation. To succeed in this role you have experience with process optimisation, problem solving, CAD software, product testing and dimensional check as well as documentation of your results. On top of this you need to have great communication skills and knowledge of injection moulding.

Profile requirements

  • Academic background and 2 years’ experience with plastics processing OR
  • Plastic Technician with at least 7 years’ experience with process management in an injection moulding production.
  • Languages: English is required, Danish is ideal and German is a plus
  • Great communication skills
  • Willing to be located on Zealand (position based in mid Zealand, Denmark).
