ENGEL invites the industry and friends to two interesting days (10-11 of April), where the future of 3D printing will be discussed. See the program and register here today!
We would like to invite our Nordic customers to an interesting day in Solrød on the latest news about 3D print, Injection 4.0 both in terms of bringing new designs fast alive and in terms of handling small batch production in a reliable and verified setup.
It has been an ongoing discussion since the first presentation of 3D printers, whether injection moulding and print were competitive technologies.
Asking some of the trendsetters within both technologies, we hope to present their visions for the current and future possibilities regarding 3D printing and small series during our Nordic Future Days.
Furthermore, we are proud to have EOS as one of the global technology leaders for industrial 3D printing of metals and polymers to present their view on metal printed mould parts, and give their believes on what impact metal printing will have on more flexible mould concepts.
Could additive manufacturing (AM) be a future way to reduce time from printed parts via printed mould parts to full scale production.
About the day:
All speakers and other friends of the house will be available for discussions during networking breaks.
The program for both days will be a combination of presentations and practical solutions at our Technology. At the seminar it will be possible to visit Damvig A/S, Englmayer and other companies at the exhibits.
The ENGEL Nordic team looks forward to welcome you in Solrød – however a quick registration at sales.dk@engel.at is necessary, since we only have space for 60 guests. The days will be held in Kildeager 2, 2680 Solrød Strand.
Program:
09:00 – 10:30: Coffee and registration of guests and our demonstration cells will run in showroom
10:30 – 11:15: ENGEL work cell for small batch production – Michael Wiesinger, ENGEL Austria
11:15 – 12:00: Inject 4.0 for small batch production – Jesper Rasmussen, ENGEL Danmark
12:00 – 13:00: Networking and lunch break where it will be possible to circulate between demo cells and talk with specialists at small stands and a buffet lunch will be available for the participants.
13:00 – 13:45: EOS Additive Manufacturing allows direct integration of conformal cooling channels in moulds and mould inserts. EOS will present current experiences, but also give there view on new possibilities with metal printing in the injection moulding industry.
13:45 – 14:30: Latest trends inside additive production (3D print of plastic) by Jesper Damvig from Damvig A/S
14:30 – 16:00: Networking and coffee, cake and closing of the day.
Show room exhibits:
- Sick A/S – presents laser sensor for part scanning and visual quality inspection
- Verner Vestergaard – material handling equipment from NewOmap and grinders from Getecha
