Plastic Design Student Award
We invite students working with plastics as part of projects within architecture and design to participate in Plastic Design Student Awards. Submit your project before May 10th for the chance to win DKK 20.000.
Students working with plastics as part of projects within architecture and design are invited to participate in Plastic Design Student Awards 2024. The winner will recieve a prize of DKK 20.000.
About the competition
- Open to both groups and individuals.
- Projects related to plastics in design, objects, construction, or architecture are welcome.
- Submissions can be assignments or projects completed during your studies.
- Projects should showcase the innovative use of plastics and be feasible in real-world scenarios.
- Submissions are accepted in both Danish and English.
Assessment Criteria:
The project must demonstrate:
- The innovative use of plastic materials in answering one or more of the 8 Design Challenges
- Feasibility and practicality
- Positive impact and relevance to the world
- Maintains an academic standard, challenging perceptions of plastics in architecture or design
Submission Guidelines:
- Project description/summary (max. 1000 characters).
- Visual presentation with photos/mockups.
- Names, contact details, university, study program, and any other relevant information.
Submit via email: jd@plast.dk – mark it ‘Plastic Design Student Awards’.
Deadline: May 10th 2024.
Winners will be chosen by an independent panel of judges. The competition will culminate in an Award Ceremony for all participants and finalists.
