Next-Gen Composites Recycling: Annual composite meeting 2024
How are composites best recycled? Join this event where representatives from the technologies at the forefront of composite recycling present and debate recycling principles and the sustainable futures for composites.
The Composite Section invites the entire composite industry to the most exciting composite debate of the year: What are viable solutions for end-of-life composites?
At the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Composite Section on May 23rd, we have assembled a panel of representatives for various end-of-life solutions.
The event will feature introductions to the recycling of composites by various experts and organizations, including:
- MAKEEN Energy
- CETEC / Danish Technological Institute
- Vestas
- CEMBUREAU / The European Cement Association
- EuCIA / The European Composites Industry Association
- The Danish Plastics Federation
Each representative will share their organization’s approach to the recycling of composites, including pyrolysis, solvolysis, recycling in cement production, and more.
Participants will then engage in a debate on the recycling and sustainability of composites moderated by Janus Kirkeby, M.Sc., PhD, Circularity, Resources & Health from Ramboll.
Following the debate, the traditional Danish Composite Award will be presented, celebrating outstanding thesis projects on composites.
But that’s not all. Attendees can also expect:
- Excellent networking opportunities with industry professionals.
- Exquisite catering and an inspiring atmosphere.
- A dinner party for those staying into the evening (free for the first 60 participants)
Don’t miss this opportunity to join the discussion and development of the composite industry’s efforts towards sustainable solutions for end-of-life solutions for composites.
